Shaded for two weeks, this Tamaryokucha Bessaku infuses very quickly into water and unleashes a fresh, sweet and mild umami flavor with nearly no bitterness.
This tea takes on a unique form. Instead of being rolled, it is curled in the shape of a “comma”. Tamaryokucha is also known in Japan as “Guricha”, which means “curled tea”. This tea is not rolled into a needle shape like a higher-grade sencha or gyokuro.
The farm of Satoru Fujisako has been producing organic green teas for two generations. These teas are not only certified in Japan but also the EU, Switzerland, Canada and USA.
