30g Silver Matcha
This first harvest, ceremonial grade matcha comes to us from Uji, perhaps the most famous area for tea cultivation in Japan. For hundreds of years, Uji was known to produce the best matcha in Japan, and that reputation still carries on to this day. This tea has been shaded for 20 days to create a rich savory flavor, and because its from the Okumidori cultivar, it has a smoother, more well-rounded flavor with less bitterness. The tea has a tiny but of astringency towards the end, but it is well-balanced by the thick and rich mouthfeel.

We look at the sustainability of the field, the attention to detail and quality control of the facility and of course the taste of the tea.
