Kabuse Shincha Asanoka
After Gyokuro, Kabusecha is considered to be the most sought after leaf tea in Japan. This tea has been shaded for a longer time, reducing the bitterness and increasing the sweetness of the tea. This tea has a nice light sweetness, and a well-balanced umami flavor. This tea is also a Shincha, meaning it is the first tea to be harvested in the springtime. It's made from the very top leaves of the tea plant that are higher in nutrients and softer in flavor.
Kabuse Sencha Yame Gokou
After Gyokuro, Kabusecha is considered to be the most sought after leaf tea in Japan. This tea has been shaded for a longer time, reducing the bitterness and increasing the sweetness of the tea. This tea comes to us from the Gokou cultivar, a quite rare tea variety in Japan that is famous for its powerful savory flavor. With this Kabusecha, the powerful savory note does not overpower the tea. There is a nice light sweetness to it and a smooth and round finish.

How Much Tea Does it Make?

How to Brew it
Add 5 grams of leaves to the teapot or strainer and then pour in 150ml to 200ml of water (160 degrees Fahrenheit) and let the tea brew for 1 minute. You can brew the leaves 2-3 more times with the same temperature for 20 seconds each
